Sorry I offended you. To be honest I didn't realize the sticker was in the picture until it was pointed out. I will edit the picture and hereby appologize to all members for my slip up. Those who missed it...I had a KNOG sticker under my frame next to the BB which featured a cartoon image of a topless woman. I laid my bike on some autumn leaves to show off my new bike, and unfortunately the image was visible. Sadly the sticker got the attention not my bike or autumn colours.

SHOFINE: The Kona Dr. Fine is a fine bike for sure! You are fortunate to have been able to purchase one, though not sure why Kona does not offer it anymore. Any problems or issues with the drivetrain that you have to report?

Thanks! Other than the bottom bracket all else has been fine. I purchased the Alfine crankset a year ago for my Sawyer & it wouldn't fit. I had just got back into biking and lucked up on finding this bike for less than 1/2 off MSRP. I believe that at the time the Nexus & Alfine 8 spds had not been proven. Amazing that they still continue to make the Dr. Good with that noisy 7 speed.

Yeah, man, really. It was just a line drawing. Nothing to get uptight about. I thought the bike and the autumn colors were also nice. Don't they have like really huge hornets in wooded areas in Japan?

Yes we do, including big dangerous bees. Freekin' big buggers. I've seen them both a few times on rides and been told not to mess with them. Also the centipedes are deadly. I didn't realize and was about to pick one up and the Japanese person with me freeked out and screamed noooooooo! They are very pretty like a tiger stripe.

Sure do turn heads, which is exactly what I wanted.
I did the white-red at first, but since switched to just one color, looks cooler

I like the white-red myself. I've got a bunch of red lights for the rear and white for front so I figured I'd keep that colour scheme going.

Especially helps for night time winter commuting!

They're simple LEDs wired together in a clear plastic tube. Really simple to build but for the lazy people like me I'll throw cash at someone to do it. You can get them from two places, both of which are not affiliated with one-another but have virtually identical products and names: CycleLights and Cycle Lights.

I got mine from the latter before I knew of the former, which worked out either way as they're cheaper through them and have a small little plastic bit to keep the LED tubes wedged together. Had I come across both I'd probably have gone with the first one.

I've had them for just over a month. They're attention grabbing and really cheap, so it's a win-win. I had gotten them just for ample side visibility, the cool factor is just an added bonus.

But I do not like being on bar ends because I have no easy access to brakes (ok I'm more Marmaduke than simple Clyde). So with all this wisdom: would you recommend bullhorns with brakes on the ends or a drop like the CrossRip that has brakes in 2 places?

thank you for help and mocking (need/deserve both I'm sure)!
Which color did you get for the 7.4? I haven't seen the Sephia color live yet and was wondering how it looked. Any pics available?

Just picked up today, 13 Quick SL. It is quite easier to go faster than my 13 Crosstrail , but not as safe in the wet.
