You look to be having one of my fave drinks... a bloody mary with no ice made with tequila! Obviously, you ate the celery stick already!!

wow....well done, but I think some of the celery is still in there. and I use vodka for bloodies, but...

My favorite libation is a premium tequila (herraudra, partida, etc) served 'completo' with sangita...a tomato-y citrus-y spicy chaser. Tequila served room temp and never w/salt. If sipping good tequila is of interest, google sangrita (not sangria) for a recipe. IMO there is no better way to prepare the palate for another sip.

sangrita with three juices
1 cup tomato juice
Juice of 3 limes
Juice of 2-3 oranges
Minced fresh green chiles
(serranos or jalapeņos) or hot salsa to taste
Small minced onion
Dash tobasco
Dash Worcestershire
Salt to taste

Mix the ingredients in a blender or pitcher. Because the intensity of fresh juices and chiles vary, mix most of the ingredients, then taste and adjust accordingly. Chill well. Serve in shot glasses accompanied by shot glasses of tequila for sipping alternately. Best served with a good quality tequila.

Congrats on finding the 0 mile marker. Most people never get to that little island behind the boat house.

Ha, never considered I'd guess correctly!

Not near the connoisseur you are, but DO give tequila a try in a mary, it's a flavor thing... as in tequila has some!

Hey are you dried out (r u near Atlanta?)... I heard Atlanta area got seriously drenched recently...

I love the Tail of the Dragon! Went there this last summer from Colorado. Totally worth it.

To keep this on topic:
Picture of me washing my car at Fontana Village:

And, though you can't tell its me, me driving on the dragon:

I'll give your mixology a try this weekend. I live ~40 miles inland from SAV Georgia...ATL is ~230 away.

Outstanding. My Z has been parked in that spot (car wash/hose) many times. Looks like you had good weeather. We go in late May for a Z car event...wearing out pads, rotors and tires.

Twin turbo charged ~450 whp cager. I bought this car six years ago today and it has less than 14K miles on it. Been to the Dragon over a dozen times.

Do you see any similarities between your Z and your FX? Now that I've seen your car your bike makes total sense.

I have a weird thing for old 80s Subarus. That specific one is a 1988 RX. Originally came with 103HP. Put a motor from a 2001 Legacy in it with the AWD transmission. Has 165 hp. Its my only car and spends most of the time sitting in our back alley. I take it up to the mountains about once a month just because its a blast to drive.

For getting around Denver, my bicycle is much more fun.

I, too, will join the collective effort in an attempt to derail this thread and turn it into a car posting thread...

my modes of transport on weekends --

I prefer driving the Scion over the Orange beast. Plus, the scion matches my white 7.7 fx.

And yes:

1) I know, in terms of MPG, the scion and hummer are polar opposites

and

2) having a hummer and having a bike to 'be green' sorta cancel eachother out. LOLOL!

luckily for me, i rarely drive, so it's not like im commuting in the hummer. i had a 2004 hummer and got rid of it in 2008. in 4 years, i put only 11k miles on it. LOLOL. I've had this one a couple of years now and it has about 7k miles on it.
