The man with two faces. ^^
Apparently not too much trouble with the mayor earthquake down in kyoto ... your internet seems to work fine and you find the time to post pictures.
Glad to see you're okay ... I actually thought of you today when I heard the news while driving to work

Thankyou, we are fine. The mobile phone system was down for a while, but here in Kyoto we seem to have no major damage.

So this week my job as an internet install guy took me to a bikeshop where they had a cycle clothing sale.
Being somewhat of a taoist (if I have to choose something that is) I went with the flow.
I was contemplating to get some proper stuff so I ended up with a full set of long leggings, shorts, summer jacket, winter jacket, wind&rain stopping jacket, gloves, underhelmetcap and nice Shimano equinox glasses with interchangeable lenses.
This is me showing off my new stuff:
To test this stuff out I rode to Geraardsbergen the last two days in pretty cold and windy weather, did "de muur" and cycled back.
Gotta say I'm completely sold!
This stuff is just great ... especially the glasses with the clear lenses were superb for doing nighttime riding and the auto-adjusting lenses were perfect for intermediate weather with clouds and sunlight.
My eyes are very sensitive to light and this was the first ride ever where I did not have pain in my eyemuscles afterwards!
The cap is also extremely usefull ... it is very comfortable and light ... it covers just your head and your ears to keep the cold wind out while it does not generate too much heat on your head ... just perfect for the job.
P.S.: let the laughter and mocking begin

Haha, and you make fun of roadies! You look like a sexy cyborg kidnapping a human child and I look like a bum!
For the record, there was a 80% chance of rain yesterday, so in the above photo, I was wearing my Goretex Tshirt and my everyday badly in need of laundering Stoic Overhang pants. (Both heavily discounted purchases).
The Eddie Bauer boots are over 30 years old and still pretty much waterproof. For the record. Different looks, both high tech and highly functional meeting the very different and unique needs and preferences of the individual cyclists.

I'm not wearing a jacket in that picture, it's a Tshirt! But anyway... Your kid is adorable.
