I joined a group ride with the Baltimore Bicycle Club. The Monument to Monument ride started in Baltimore, but I joined them about 36 miles into their ride. I rode with them to DC and back to Baltimore, then I soloed home. The group ride was 93 miles but I rode at least seven miles more than that.

They rode from the Washington Monument in Baltimore...

to the slightly better known Washington Monument in DC

...and back.

There was some light drizzle on the way up and a light rain for part of my solo ride home. I saw some deer on the way home.

For me a set of those corima wheels

It's always funny to see how many bikes these people can cram into one shop, isn't it?

Highline Canal Trail in Denver, CO. 27 mile roundtrip. Maybe I cheated by underexposing a picture, overexposing a picture, and converted them to HDR in photoshop... Maybe not

I think I'll go to the library today. It's only 15 or 20 minutes away from work, and I'll have a nice book for later.

Not today, but yesterday it took me a bit farther down the canal than usual, into crushed gravel territory. Bike did fine, as did my wrists! However, I did spend about 3+ hours cleaning the fine stone dust off of EVERYTHING
