Question Iron Horse Transit 3.0

Anyone have any experience with this bike?

They all look good, however I can not find anything out about these bikes.
I bought one for my son, just hope the frame is not complete junk.

Iron Horse is a good brand. I think of them as being kinda heavy but that's probably because of the name more than anything else. I ride my brother-in-law's Iron Horse MTB when I visit. It's probably ten years old and still holding up fine. Newer models, like your son's, are probably even better.

We do not have the bike yet, however the claim is 23.5 lbs! I will get it weighed when I take it to the lbs for set up.
This is not a mountain bike, which is what I see they are known for. I wanted to get him something to go on rides with me. We only ride the W&OD bike trail in VA. He didn't want drop downs or brifters and wide knobby tires kill him on the long upgrades, so this looked like a good solution.
We will see.
