Tire Manufacturing Question

There have been several threads recently with "enthusiastic" discussions about tires. Brands, models, size, inflation pressure, you name it, it has been covered.

I was asked today if bicycle tires were still being manufactured in the U.S. and finally answered, "I doubt it."

Does anyone know of a U.S. or N.A. bike tire manufacturing facility?

I do not know about currently but the Reno, NV Michelin plant used to make many bicycle tires for the U.S. market and possibly others.
