Trek 7.1 vs. GF Wingra?
Hello,
I have been lurking around a bit while in the market for my first bike in some 10 odd years. I have tried quite a few and the 2 bikes I enjoyed the most are the GF Wingra and Trek 7.1, The GF Wingra seems to be just a faster over all bike so I am some what leaning towards this bike. Unfortunately my girlfriend is riding with me and naturally is a slower rider so speed is not really necessary. My question here is basically what is the better quality bike? I am not familiar with the terms the guy at the bike shop was explaining so I have been trying to find it on line. Is the extra 80 dollars for the GF Wingra worth it in your opinion? I have always rode BMX bikes as a kid so the upright feel of the Trek seemed off, but I do have some back issues in the lower back region. I am only going to bike ride casually on the weekends, not going to commute to work.

Or I can even get the Trek 7.2 FX for the same price if the quality of the bike is really worth it and better than the Wingra.
