Specialized Sirrus Sport 2009 versus Scott Sub 35 2010
Hello,
I'm looking for a hybrid bike that I would use, most likely during the summer on the road and occasionally on dirt tracks. I previously had a Sirrus Sport which I was really happy with and am considering buying the 2009 model as it is £150 less than the 2010 which has carbon forks and a very slighty better spec. Not sure its worth the extra money as I won't be riding it a great deal.
The other option for another £70 more is to go with a Scott Sub 35. Its not the most attractive of bikes but if its a better bike than the Sirrus sport then I'd probably stretch to the extra cost.
I've posted the specs for both bikes below. Any advice as to which would suit best then I'd be very grateful!
Thanks!

If you are talking about occasional hard packed dirt, I'd go with the Sirrus.
If you are talking trails across county, I'd go with the Scott.

I just picked up a brand new 2008 Sirrus Sport at a local dealer at a carzy discount! I love it! I put some 35mm tires on it (small knobbies) for the gravel and rural roads I ride on. It has the carbon fork also and I love it!
