    Tires for Giant FCR1

    Experts,

I have a 2004 model of the Giant FCR1 hybrid bike. This was a purchase to see whether I would like cycling. Subsequently, I bought a road bike that I use it for daily rides. I really want to use the Giant for some light trails. Currently it has the 700 x25c tires on there. Can I put cyclocross tires on there? What is the biggest tires I can put on this thing? Thanks

    Step 1: go to LBS.
Step 2: Have LBS take wheels off a 'cross bike (e.g. with 35c tires or so) and try to throw 'em on.
Step 3: If they fit, done; if they don't, then you're probably limited to 32c.

Competitive cyclist is having a sale on the 700x32c for $15. That's why I'm wondering it this will fit the bike/wheel.
