My New Bike is In!
In the store that is. Which is an hour away and closes at 6.
Ah well, tomorrow will be soon enough to pick up my Trek 7.5 fx. It's a trade-up from my recently purchased Trek 7300.
I really like the 7300, especially compared to my old 720, but compared to the 7.5, it's sluggish and non-responsive.
I made the right choice in getting the 7300 vs the Trek Comfort bike I looked at. I would not have been happy with a bike w/out suspension, despite everything I read. (Hey, I'm from Kansas, next door to Missouri, the Show-me state!)
After about 100 miles on the 7300, followed by riding both it and the 7.5 within minutes of each other, it was clear I'd be happier with the bike Trek calls a "fitness" model.
Photos in a new thread, by the weekend!
