New Bike Day: Trek 7.5 FX

I picked up my new Trek 7.5 FX this afternoon, and as promised, here are a few photos. There are additional images at my Flickr site.

I really like this bike, and added my 1st set of clipless pedals as part of the upgrade. I went with the Shimano 130s so I could use regular shoes for more casual rides. So far I've only ridden clipless in front of my house, practicing clipping in and out.

After a month of riding the 7300 it was clear I would do better with a slightly higher performing bike. (I traded a month old 7300 @ 90%; I'm happy.)
So far, so good!

Note that the middle picture has been processed with the Fractalius photoshop filter.

I think that's the same bell and kickstand my LBS put on my 7.5. It's a great bike, if you're into that kind of thing, I recommend getting a computer and a speedtrap for the fork.

Not sure what a speedtrap is (guess I could google it :-)

I use my iPhone and the cyclometer as well as a garmin 305, so I'm reasonably well covered in terms of computers ...
