New to me Cdale Badboy
Was wondering if I got a decent deal, a rigid, v brake, 650c bad boy for $300. I always loved the look of this bike and needed and change from the road bikes I already have. Something I can ride a bit more casually.
I really like the bike, it works well, and looks awesome. Can anyone tell me how I can determine the year?

Check out Bikepedia and compare the component list per year with your bike. The serial number likely includes the year it was made, but you'd need someone more savvy than me to decipher it.

Let me guess - this is 2003 Bad Boy...with XT rear derailleur and 27 spd drivetrain...
I got 2009 bad boy for 300 from CL, but Cannondale metodically downgraded it every year - mine had 8 speed cassette, X-4, x-5 and alivio mix.
(2010 is already Acera equipped)
I had to invest some money to make it 9 speed, to get decent crankset... shifters etc..
If this is good condition bike and components then it is a very good deal..

Exactly, It is a 2003. It is in excellent condition except a couple paint very small paint chips. It has an XT/SLX combo.
