Good deal on Specialized Sirrus?

I found an ad for a 2007 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid, but needs tires, tubes, and brakes for $125 in great condition.

Should I jump on this deal? How much would it typically cost to replace all those parts with decent (not high-end) replacement?

Also would 54cm be too small for me? I'm about 6' w/ 32 inseam.

good brake pads can be had for $10 a pair. Tires can vary widely in price but a decent set is about 20 bucks each, tubes about 6 each. However, I think that 54cm would be too small for a 6 footer. I would think a 58cm would fit you better.

That may be a bit tight, but you could sell it w/o a prob if it is too cramped.

I'm very similar in size to you and a 54 is way too small on any bike. I actually liked a 60cm Sirrus the best.
