While not Ergon's, when I replaced the handlebars on my CrissCross (going for more rise), I selected Ergon style grips by Specialized. I have found them to be quite comfortable, so I bought a second pair for the upcoming bar swap on my CrossCut.

I'm just disappointed with all of my LBS in almost two whole counties. Called more than a dozen LBS. None of them were stocking the GC3s and they carry only a few Ergon grip products.
People ride year round in the PNW.
Had to order online. Oh well, saved a huge chuck of $$$$.

Ergon GC3
I just finished installing a pair of Ergon GC3's on my Fuji Absolute 1.0. I ordered the small size and after a few adjustements find the ride incredibly comfortable. I purchased these after reading all of the favorable comments on this forum and online at other sites. Great grips. Can't wait to give them a try on a long ride. Spring is nearly here...

I put Ergon GP1's on the hybrid I'm building up. I'm not quite finished putting it together, so I haven't had a chance to try the Ergons out yet. It's been many years since I've ridden that type of handlebar without bar-ends, but the Ergons feel really nice, so I'll see how it goes out on the road.

My first Hybrid came with the grips, and I had been used to bar ends, and I'm surprised how comfortable they are and my hands don't get numb anymore.
It's easy to move your hands into different positions and that makes the difference, and you don't have the bulk on your handle bars of bar ends sticking up to catch on everything.

I have that same "can't fully grip the bar" problem Jonathan mentioned above if I ride singletrack, but no problems touring on the road. Had a pair of GP1s for at least 4-5 years.
I bought a pair of GC3-L last year for my then-new Quick CX and could not get them locked on solidly enough to really lean into the bar-ends. If I put much weight on them, they moved.
They're in my parts bin now. I should probably sell 'em on fleabay...

If properly installed they will not slip, in fact I have mine taped over and use them as a climbing aid. In a near horizontal position, the GC3s give an identical layout as the hoods and bar on my road bike.

I have a set of GP1s with a separate set of bar ends on my Diamondback hybrid. The combination gives me a number of different riding positions and helps keep the numbness away a lot longer than the old foam grips the bike came with.

We put Ergon GP-1's on both mine and the wife's bike and we LOVE em!! Even decided to take off the "bar ends"!

Went looking for Ergon's with the small bar end on friday. Bike shop was out, but had some Origin8 "ergonomic" grips with a short aluminum bar end for $35. Seemed a good price, and the soft rubber is wrapped all the way around the grip.
I can ride my mountain bike without much numbness with round grips, but for some reason, the positioning of my Sirrus gets my hands numb. I had specialized locking ergo grips before, but after switching from twist grip to trigger, i had to get new grips, and gave the specialized ones to my girlfriend (who likes them better than round grips).
The bar ends give an almost hood-like feel, although a bit wider than a road bike. Still comfy though, at least just sitting on the bike. Gonna be a COLD week, so won't see much cycling till the end of the week. I guess 70's in march was too good to be true for long here in upstate NY!
