Planet Bike Fenders on Trek 7100 **UPDATE**
Hey Guys. I'm a newbie here. I've been lurking for about a month and enjoying getting back into biking.
I just bought a set of Planet Bike fenders for my Trek 7100.
The front one went on easily. The back one was a different story. I haven't been able to get the tire to stop rubbing on the front end of the fender.
I was just curious if anyone else got these to work or am I wasting my time trying.
My "Local Bike Shop" is 70 miles away. It was close to closing time so I just bought the set they recommended and thought I would slip them on myself.
I was hoping to figure it out without having to take the bike into the shop.
Thanks

I must have been sleep deprived last night. Gave it another shot this afternoon and was successful.
Here is the finished product. I'm wasn't sure about putting fenders on, but I don't think they look bad.

Nice! That looks great! I'm hoping to put some fenders on my 7.0 trek fx soon and I hope I don't run into too many problems and then somehow wreck my bike

Nothing wrong with them on your bike. In fact I think they suit it very well.

I really like it. I just started biking again and didn't want to spend a bunch of cash until I found out if I was going to stick with it. It seems like a great bike for the money.
I bought it about a month ago and as of tonght have 197 miles on it.
I'm still undecided on the seat but I want to give it a chance.
It feel like I'm always sliding forward on it but I really don't want to raise the nose up any more and put pressure on the twins.
