I bouth a 1997 Trek 720 today but I need a new rear wheel?

I picked up a bike today on Craig's List, a 1997 Trek 720 Multi Track . Paid only $70 for it but the rear wheel was in bad shape and can't be trued so I have to replace it. The paint and everything else is in great shape. It fits me great. But I ahve to find a new rear wheel. It has Mavic Vapor rims on it now. Any ideas of where to get a replacement wheel?

I bought a wheel set on Craigslist for $60.

I did check several bike shops, Ebay, and finally found a wheel set off of Criagslist, the rear wheel was 135mm width that was 8 speed, off of a hybrid, just what I needed. I purchased a 4.5mm spacer so I can put my 7 speed cassette back on. It is coming in the mail today. Both rims had decent tires but the rear has a Armadillo Infinity, a $40 tire. So I should be up and running later today.

So I am $135 into this bike which seems pretty much to the be the going rate. I have learned more about bikes in the process and enjoy the hunt and the restoration process.

Thanks for all the input.
