Black Friday bargains

Didnt expect much on Black Friday in terms of cycling, but I managed to pick up a Cannondale Womens quick 5 for $325 (2012).

That price couldnt come at a better time, I was beginning to sweat that i wouldnt be able to get my nieces bike by xmas.

Welp, what was to be the only bright spot on a horrific black friday experience this year.... I went to go pick up the bike this morning with the truck and pay off the balance and the store decided NOT to give me the sale price for a host of reasons that they were pulling out of their backsides and totally contradictory to what was said yesterday. So a bike that was $325 yesterday is now $535 today.

That's pretty rude, especially since you already put $ down on it. I hope you got your money back.

There didn't seem to be much out there. I bought some parts to convert my old Cannondale into a single speed, none of the parts were black Friday specific deals.

BD has some cyber mon sales and I just picked up a frame and fork for 139. shipped free. I will be building up my Hybrid with some parts I have lying around frome previous bikes. Just need to pick up a set of dual pivot brakes, a 25.4 handlebar and may add some color to the matte black frame. Looking forward to this! was contiplating a Trek FX but will see how this comes out!
