too big?

too big?

i just bought a hybrid but its difficult to stand with in between my legs. is this normal? or should i go back to the shop?

It seems the frame is too big for you, did the dealer recommend this for you or was it your choice.

You should have 1-2" between the top tube and your body parts. That's while standing flatfoot. While actually riding, you will not be able to touch your feet to the ground if the bike is properly sized. I hope the shop didn't recommend this size; it seems too big.

If you can't place two fingers between the top tube and your crotch, then just it take back right away! That's if you purchased it new, from a dealership....

Damn im kn my tippy toes when i stand over the top bar of the frame. Yeah they just sold it to me like that.

Were they out of the smaller size? Yes it should go back and you should ask for someone else to handle the fit.
