Help With Jamis Coda Sizing

Looking to purchase first bike since my BMX days. Research has led me to hybrids. Thus far, I've road tested the Jamis Coda, Trek 7.1, and Specialized Sirrus. After my testing, the Jamis gets my vote for comfort and feel. So what's my problem? My local dealer had me on a Coda 16" which I've come to find out is actually the Femme model. Oh yeah, I'm a dude. Now, it's not like the thing has a step through or is painted pink. In fact, I'm not sure there any tell-tale signs its the Femme model. So, what is the difference? Should I move to a size up just to not have the Femme model? Am I missing something?

I just got a Coda Comp, 17" frame. I'm pretty short, 5'7" and the bike fits me perfectly. I'd ask the shop if they have a 17" frame, and if it feels to big, just go with the Femme frame. Ride what feels comfortable too you. Here's mine, just because I like to post pictures!

If the bike fits and it isn't pink with flower decals, there's not going to be much of a difference. WSD bikes are often identical to mens bikes except for color.
