my new Jamis Coda sport
Hello guys,
I was going to buy Trek fx 7.5 2007, used, 400$ around my town. I went to test and it was bit small to me.. the bike was in mint condition, super
light, carbon fork, and reasonable price.. but what can I do?
On my way back, I saw LBS and went in there. they're very nice to me, explain many things about bikes and components. I rode few bikes ;
Jamis Coda sport, Commuter, Raleigh (forgot the model name), KHS (forgot the model name, sorry about this.
I was looking for hybrid bike under 600$, and I really liked Jamis Coda sport compare to others.
very smooth, comfortable but free fast at the same time, chromoly frame and fork, which satisfy my needs (going to attach rear rack and front rack
to go few day bike trip, yaaik!)

Congrats on the nw Coda! I bought one myself about two weeks ago, same color as yours, I love the black and silver. Everytime I ride mine I like it more. One thing for me that really helped was getting the seat adjusted properly. Once I did that it made a huge difference in my rides. The LBS did adjust it for me initially but I have been tweaking it since and finally found my sweet spot. I haven't added anything execpt a Sigma computer. I vouch for the smooth and comfortable, best bike I have rode and like you ,it fits my needs perfectly. Enjoy!

Great story and a great bike! The Jamis's seem to be flying out of the LBS lately. Many posts about happy Jamis Coda owners. If your hands get tired, you should consider bar ends to offer more hand positions.

congrats!! I think you'll love your Coda Sport. I have the 2011 Coda Femme. Love the smooth ride of the steel frame.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
