That's it, end of thread. That Scott is by far the best looking hybrid bike I've ever seen, bar none. Even with the FSA cranks it's still HOT HOT HOT. Man I want a disc-brake road/hybrid bike so bad.

Gezz! nice comments, lots of people have killer bikes here. The Scott sits as a frame set now.
I found it had a harsh ride in the rear triangle with skinny tires, the JBC is much better actually very smooth. I do think of rebuilding it sometimes then remember the ride quality. But if I was ever going to tour with a bike that would be my choice of bike with fatter tires rack mounts all over and bullet proof frame.

There are some really nice bikes, and you do have great taste in them. Just something about that Bad Boy with the HeadShok, always thought it was sweet. (Even a stock one) much less his custom version.

Just bought myself a Schwinn 4 one one and discovered this forum while researching about it on the net.
Saw it as I was walking past the bike shop and it literally stopped me in my tracks.
Thought it may get a look in on this thread but no.
Mine doesn't have the quirky bar/basket combo though.

I think bicycles are like kids in that everyone thinks theirs is the most beautiful. I'm sort of old school when it comes to bikes, having gotten into the hobby in the mid-90's, so I built up my new hybrid in that style.

I know the feeling, your bike looks very nice. Plus the feeling that it was custom built for you, by you. Congrats.

Thanks! I rode a 95 Trek Multitrack for close to 20 years and loved it but this bike blows the Trek away as far as ride quality. It's just amazing. Smooth but nimble. Making 90 degree turns on a sidewalk with my Trek was a little dicey and I had to slow way down to feel comfortable but on this bike I can maintain a much faster speed and just cruise thru that turn without feeling like I'm going to end up with a wheel in the grass. All this with fat, heavy 40mm tires! I'm going to ride it like this for the forseeable future but I can imagine how it's going to ride once I put my 32mm Vittoria Hypers on it!

My only complaint is that I wasn't able to completely color-code it so that all the components are silver. Someday.
