Ya it's not really a hybrid.. It's basically an S-Works bike with flat bar..

I have a bad back and need to be more upright..

My 2011 Jamis Allegro 1 is a favorite. I purchased the Allegro 1 because, though it's triple butted aluminum and I generally prefer steel, it has a cro-mo steel fork for road vibration absorption, and curved [hydraformed] top tube and curved stays for extra strength. I also like the SRAM 8-speed cassette. It's a lively ride that takes hills and potholes well.
