Ergon GP5 review
Very nice. I like the build. Kinda of hard in the beginning but gets better on the ride. Just had to adjust the angle of the extensions because my hands are small. But I like the make and feel of the grip. Had to adjust the shifters because it ran a little longer than the stock grips. Overall I'm liking it. Thanks for reading. By the way I can feel my hands not as tired at the end of the trip thanks to the different hand positions.

I've been lucky I guess, as I haven't had any discomfort from my grips that would warrant grips that expensive. (here about $60) Maybe it's my set up...I don't know.
Anyway FMadridRN, since you've started a review I have a question for you...Can one use them on carbon bars? They look pretty bulky and I'm wondering if there are concerns about clamping them on carbon.
EDIT..I just read their web site. carbon bars are a "no no".

I have these, even though they are called GC3 on my bar ends. I think they are great and worth the price. My stock grips were awful and these eliminate the numbness.

I got a set last week after developing numbness in my hands after a long ride. Problem solved. I highly recommend them to reduce the risk of repetitive stress injury, including carpal tunnel injury.

The bike shop which sells you the bike in the first place should ensure your stem length, stem height, stem angle, saddle height, saddle angle, saddle position and frame size, was correct before sending you out the door. These injuries just shouldn't be happening.
Simply put, it seems cyclists with severe numbness etc. are putting too much pressure on their hands. My friends and I ride thousands of kms a year, and I have not heard one of them complain about this.
