Chainguard?
I've gotten mildly interested in picking up an entry-level "comfort hybrid" bike. I test-rode a Raleigh Venture and a Specialized Expedition and liked them both. Only trouble is that neither of them comes with a chainguard, and I really would prefer to have one. Is it possible to install an aftermarket chainguard on either of these models?
Both of the ones I was looking at were single-ring 7-speeds. The Raleigh has a 40T chainring, and the expedition has a 42.

various but not all of the Specialized Globe Daily and Work models have chain guards. typically, these have internal gear hubs, rather than derailleurs. The Work 3 and Daily 3 have a 7 speed Shimano Nexus hub. The Daily 1 has a 3 speed SRAM hub.
