I didn't find much if any about the Cannondale Quick CX 3. Does anyone have any experience or pics? I'm cross shopping this against the Trek 8.4 DS and Specialized Crosstrail Elite. All 2013 models.

I have the catalog on all 3 models, not really sure what your looking for in info. And have seen them all at the bike shop, I personally like the Crosstrail Elite, my local LBS wants 990.00 for it. I forget what the Trek was going for, and the Cannondale. You should be able to see there specs on there site's, but nothing beats your own test riding them. Never thought I would find myself on a Carbon Flat Bar Road bike with 700 x 23c, till I took it for a ride. Always looked at the models your asking about, My favorite in the dual sport, would be the Quick CX 1 ....

I own a 2012 CX-3 (white) that I bought new and it is a pretty good bike, BUT the brakes are JUNK!!!! I had soooo much trouble with these brakes (Tektro Novela mechanical disc). I brought my bike back to the shop where I bought it (3) separate times before they fixed the problem. They ended up replacing the disc's with a much better brand (Avid). So far so good.

I bought this bike because I really wanted to upgrade to a hybrid with disc brakes. If I were to do it all over again, I would NOT get a bike with disc brakes at all. I know, a lot of people like disc brakes, but I'm not so sure.....
