My gf's early 90's Honda civic, had one of those long antennas that slide in and out of the a pillar ... Her ex bent the thing so it was pointing forward, she tried to bend it back and she snapped it right in half... It's wasn't alu. ... And it also wasn't a der. hangar, which this thread seems to be about .
