HELP! How much should I pay for a mint 2004 Kona Dew?
Someone near me is selling a Kona Dew on craigslist. I've contacted them and based on the post and our discussion, it's apparent that they know very little about the bike, not even what year model it is. I am not even positive that it's a 2004 model, but assumed so based on the crude pictures in the ad. Apparently, everything is in great shape. I can't attest to this with out seeing it and riding it myself, but I'm curious what anyone thinks a good price would be if it is mint. I can't really remember back to 2004 Konas and don't know how they compare to todays. If it is in fact nine years old, $250 seems steep when I could just get a '13 model for a bit more. Also, if anyone has any personal experience with this Dew model, please share! Thank you!

$250 is far too much for it(tell him he's dreaming) , even if it is mint. It's old and that's that. I'm no expert but I wouldn't go over $150 as long as it requires no repairs.

I have a Dew from 2005 and absolutely love it. Mind you, I've done some considerable upgrades.
If it is truly in mint condition, my upper limit would be $150. I would start the offer lower than that, of course.
