First off, welcome to BF!

I can't find much about the LG Horizon but I can speak for the reliability of Jamis products. Especially the Jamis Coda. The one thing about both of them is they both have front shocks, which will make them heavier. IMO, only get shocks if you need them, you are lighter and faster without them.

If I were to recommend any bikes near the price of those bikes, they would be:

Jamis Coda - https://www.myjamis.com/SSP%20Applica...cat_grp=strt_2

Jamis Allegro - https://www.myjamis.com/SSP%20Applica...cat_grp=strt_4

Cannondale Quick 6 or 5 - https://www.cannondale.com/2013/bikes...ation/quick-sl
I own the Quick 4 and highly recommend it, but it might be out of your price range.

Trek FX - https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...ss/fx/7_1_fx/#

Hope I helped
