Advice on Trek bikes costs, please
Hi there,
I rant into some ads selling used Trek bikes. Could anyone recommend me these bikes true (or fair) price assuming they're in good condition? See links below. Thanks!

Like others have said, they are somewhat on the low side of the Trek models. However, they still have the fact that they are made by Trek going for them. I have a Trek 800 which is probably their lowest of low and it is absolutely amazing. It's held up through everything I could throw at it so in my opinion, both those are pretty good deals and should do fine

He meant the website posted by cannondale125;that site has gaps in different lines of bike listings, plus it doesn't take into consideration the condition/mileage of a bike.
DC has a pretty robust used market,so prices are going to be higher than many other areas. Those are both pretty typical. I'd say the prices are ok if there isn't any rust and the bikes don't need anything. If the chains, brake pads,or tires need replacing, then I would work them down accordingly. Chains are around $18-25,brake pads about $8-15/set,tires could be anywhere from $15-40/ea. Look for rust on the chain, see how much material is left on the pads, and check both the tread and sidewalls on the tires. If there's cracking on the sidewalls, the tire should be replaced.
