One of the reasons I bought my hybrid was so I could ride it off road. Last year I put as bout a thousand miles of off road riding on my hybrid.

My hybrid goes anywhere I tell him to go. I even did part of the mountain bike trail just to see how it feels....Nobody notice my skinny wheels since they were muddy and looked like 2.3 lol Many hybrid frames are made almost like mountain bike frames. Best all terrain bicycle ever invented...best of the both worlds lol
