How would I attach this stem mount
I recently purchased an Ibera spring loaded phone mount for my Note 2. I realized it wasn't for quill stems after I purchased it but would really like to use this. I have a Trek Verve 1 with a 1-1/8" quill stem and the bolt that came with the mount is about .5". I searched around to see if there's anything like a bolt adapter where I can replace my stem bolt with an opening to screw in another bolt into it to no avail. Any thoughts if such a bolt exists or other options to mount this to my stem? I considered drilling the opening of the mount so my stem bolt will fit but that will leave too little of the actual mount and can possibly break off. Any thoughts and/or opinions are welcome!

I wouldn't try adapting it to use your stem bolt. The reason is that on a threadless system, the top cap is merely to put on initial pressure, and then once the stem is tightened, it merely keeps rain out of the steerer tube. On the threaded type, the pressure is needed to keep the wedge seated. The adapter is probably not designed for that pressure.
I would probably use one of the Ibera handlebar adapters...
