Are you looking for a carbon fibre framed hybrid with rack mounts?

Look no further..... I just put my old topeak explorer rear rack on my Giant Escape RX Composite. I'ts another reason I purchased these bikes in the first place. Don't know of another model CF frame with rack mounts on it. Have any of you run into any others. If so please post here for others to view. It appears that now you can have your CF and carry a few items at the same time. Check out my thread here for pictures>

They ride wonderfully. You will enjoy your ride. Here's a pic taken yesterday at the opening of the Withlacoochee trail extension bridge with the rack on as well.

That's a great looking bike. Is it a large frame? I am 6'2". How tall are you? None of my LBS has one in stock.

Brakes are meh,but at that price I'd be willing to spend the dosh I saved to upgrade them.

They only make this bike in small, medium and large. I am 5'11 and this bike fits me perfect. (I got a medium).

Wow $1,300 is a nice price. I am not sold on disc brakes (yet). Still- if I were looking for a CF hybrid- I would consider this one.

Now that's a H$LL of a deal. I would guess the frame is the not only built by Giant but in fact the same one minus the ride sense. It also states it has rack mounts as well. I know a lot of people like disc brakes, I do on my mtn bike... not so much on the road bike. My wife and I both had Diamond Backs back in the day... however like many other brands they are in name only the same as the good olde day. But still it looks like a great ride for the $$. Do like I did with my RX Composites and swap out the drive train and maybe the breaks and I bet you would be amazed at the transformation. Nice find it looks like at least two manufacturers are making carbon fibre frames with rack mounts.
