Cost of replacing wheels 2011 sirrus elite?
The rims on my sirrus need replacing. How much would it cost to have them replaced in a shop? Would I be better off buying new wheels? Cheers.

What happened to the rims (both?) that they need replacing? Maybe they could be repaired.

There are a ton of online shops that you would probably get a better deal on new wheels. With that said, check with your local LBS and see what they have in stock. They may have a built set of wheels that has been on sale for way to long and anxious to move them out.

Handspun wheel set, with absolutely bomb proof Velocity rims, Shimano LX hubs with steel axle, and DT Swiss spokes is around $300-350 I think. Check tree fort bikes website. It probably be the last set of wheels you will ever buy for this bike.
