Bought a smart trainer. Need hardware help to run Zwift
Hey guys, just ordered a Stages SB20 smart bike and need help with quality hardware to get the best experience running Zwift. I have an iPad Pro M1 that I was thinking of running it as the main unit. Anyone using this set up? I also need help with quality fans, and bluetooth speakers.

traffic on the zwift forum implies that it's not ideal on your device. But I think it's only that the graphics isn't great. I'm not sure about fans. They got really expensive in the last couple of years.

A big screen up front is what you need most for an immersive experience.
Sound is not very important on Zwift unless you really want to hear a load of annoying " ride on" shouts in a really irritating accent.

I never thought that there might be sound on zwift. I'm about to upgrade the video card on my pc that runs it though. I probably shouldn't complain about the graphics on zwift given that I sorted through the junk pile until I found a card that would actually run the game. I must be exploring the lower end of their requirements.

As for fans, we have a couple of these in our workout room and they are quite good: Amazon.com: B-Air Firtana-20X Multipurpose High Velocity Fan - 20 inch Floor Fan : Home & Kitchen

You need a big screen. It doesn't have to be super high-res, but the experience is 1000% different than looking at a normal computer monitor or tablet.
I just bought a 32" 4k screen (not for this) for $300. That would be the minimum size, but bigger would be better. Whereas 4K is not needed at all for Zwift. 1080HD is plenty.
I have had the Zwift sound turned off since nearly the beginning. It's Annoying.
I run my system through two iPads. One does zwift and is connected to the big screen video through an adaptor. The other is my jukebox and is connected to the screen speakers. Or bluetooth earbuds.
