Hello from Milwaukee
I've been bike commuting for ten or so years--off and on, unfortunately. I have several bikes, but currently mostly ride a Trek Allant and Cannonade Synapse. I've done most of my riding in Michigan, the Netherlands, and Milwaukee. My commute is about six miles each way to the college at which I teach. It's a mix of arterial roads, side streets, and state trail. I've lived in Milwaukee for about a year now and am finally starting to feel at home with the roads. It seems like there is a vibrant and growing bike culture here, which is exciting, and I plan to tap into it more this summer. I've followed bikeforums.net for years and finally decided to register. Thanks for all the great advice in the past! It's helped a lot.
