Are there any bikes for me that don't have pink streamers and a bell?

Hello,

I'm new here. I'm a mom and I would like to ride a bike mainly for the exercise. There is a great bike/walking trail along the river near me (all paved.) I can't find a bike that fits. My dilemma is this: I stand at a staggering 4'9". I'd rather not ride a bubblegum pink bike with flowers and a basket for my barbie dolls. But this is all I can find. Help?

Welcome to the forum... yes there are bikes that are true road bikes that will fit you....where are you looking... go to a true bicycle shop, not a ***mart or sporting goods store.

the pics are of a bike I bought for my grand daughter, and there are others out there.

I have found several small framed road and hybrid bikes on Craigslist. You just gotta keep looking.

The Trek FX WSD is a women-specific hybrid bike that comes in 13". I bet it will fit you. I'm a shade under
5'2 and the 15" FX WSD bike fits me just right.

unless you are familiar with bike sizing and fit... and can do your own basic maintenance.... I would avoid craigslist and used bicycles.
