Jumping in and saying HI from AZ
I recall posting here quite some time ago, but those must have been AOL days....long before I started writing down passwords, and probably before forums were what they are today.
Long time rider, with bouts of forgetting to ride for years at a time, or when the kids came along it might have been a good 10 years of cycling hiatus, but all said and done, a good 45 years of riding if you include the Sting Ray era (and yes, those were new back then). I ride mostly road, have had a couple dozen bikes in recent years, downsizing when it makes sense, but this week found 2 new-to-me road bikes in the back of the pickup that took about a year to close the deal.
I've owned tandems, tall and short uni's, clown bikes, Ti bikes, new and vintage, ridding countless centuries, gawd forbid I try a double, never officially raced, but always have the "stuff" to help others when flatted on the side of the road, or for whatever reason they don't have a tool kit. I'm going to post in the SS section for another new-to-me, but not a new style of ride, where I'm now enjoying a Madison from time to time.
Cheers!
