My introduction
Just joined Bike Forums, I have been riding for about 30 years on and off. I am looking to talk with others about bikes and bike products. I like the vintage type road bikes from the 70's to 80's, I just recently started to collect. I'm also on the hunt for any early 90's mountain bike and even late 80's mountain bikes. I like to work on all types of bikes and ride them to experience all types of riding. My personal favorites are the early Raleigh road bikes...I'd like to learn more about them. Would like to tell the difference between the entry level and the high end vintage bikes. I have a few raleighs now...1983 raleigh capri and maybe late 70's Grand Prix. I can post pics as soon as I learn more on how to use this site.

I just got today a Raleigh Elkhorn mountain tour, with the bull moose bars. It's in great condition, payed $50 for it. Hope I got a good deal, I didn't see much on these online to find the value. If anyone knows or can help let me know.
