Welcome.
UAE usually stands for "United Arab Emirates"-- the city-state of Dubai.
If so, then it will be very interesting to hear about dealing with the extreme heat of that environment!

UAE "United Arab Emirates" is a small country in the middle east located in the upper right corner of Saudi. Dubai is an Emirate = state. Sharjah is one of the emirates. During the winter time the weather is ok in the high 70s and of course at night it can get a little chilly. There aren't may people who would bike there recreational reason mostly for economic reason. UAE especially Dubai is one of the most liberal mulim place in the middle east, so they are very much with the fashion but I would not push it if I am not a national (local) there.

Yeah you guys got it mostly right. I live in Al Ain actually its part of the emirate Abu Dhabi. Its more conservative that dubai. There are lots of people that bike for transportation but not many for recreational purposes. Clothing isnt a big deal for me since im a guy. Its more for girls. They just cant wear shorts or spageti strap shirts or whatever. You can wear whatever you want in dubai. Yeah its gets to about 130 in the summer. It was 105 yesterday. You definitly go through a lot of water. Thanks for the welcome.
