Not sure, don't have one of those cadence calculating devices. On the 46x15 I've gone down some steep hills into the mission district from bernal heights and didn't get shaken off my saddle. Mostly I ride my 52x18 for day to day and commuting, like the added velocity as well as the leg work out I'm getting.
