Greetings from ND.
Hello all. Found this site to be a good resource for the elderly steel ten speeds with obsolescent rim diameters of non-collectable value that I am starting to acquire. I am not terribly knowledgeable about bicycle terminology etcetera, but I can do most maintenance myself. I am a purely recreational rider. I currently have a 1980 Raleigh Grand Prix mixte in decent condition, original save for tires & tubes as far as I can determine. Just acuired a 73 - 76 Ci Itoh (Dated by the rear suntour gt) in less than respectable condition, apparently these were the yugo of 10 speeds but I figure if it just needed tires and some lube & adjustment to be road worthy-ish it cant be too terrible. Thanks to all here for the good information and tips.
