Evening, folks!
Hello!
22 years old, have been cycling everywhere to get around since around 2013. The bus prices started to get extortionate, so I bought what I would now class as a 'BSO' (Apollo Paradox 26') from Halfords just to get me back and to from college. I really had no clue what I was doing with bikes at the time, so it barely got any maintenance apart from semi-regular servicing at my local Halfords and Cyclehouse, whenever I could afford to get it serviced. By the time I got rid of it, it barely stopped, had three slightly-working gears, and the crank was really loose. It was a bit crap, but it always got me home, and that includes riding in the rain and all the way through a bad winter. So I owe it some thanks for that. I donated it to my local reconditioned bike place, and I hope it's either been parted out or has been reconditioned and providing someone else with some amount of service.
Anyway, I'll be sticking around here a bit, so thanks for reading.
