I am new to this forum and hope to learn from all of you. I am fairly new to biking and am back on the bike after sitting on my butt for too long. After talking to my doctor, I need to drop some weight and excercise to lower my blood preasure and since I love to ride my bike I thought it would be my best choice. I live here in So. Calif. so I can ride most days. I got my bike tuned up, installed new tires and tubes and got on it this weekend and loved it. I took it slow and will do so for the first couple of weeks as I have read from a few of you hear. Thanks for your help so far.
