Hello from hilly Kentucky
Hi all. Just had my work commute lengthened by 5 miles, so I decided to put together a pedal assist friction drive.
I'm very pleased by how it turned out. I can easily remove the unit in just a few seconds to take it into work to charge the batteries for my trip home, or just take it off on the weekends to go for a normal bike ride. It has plenty of hill climbing power to get me to work without being sweat soaked, and it only cost about $150 in parts.
