BalearicBeats, from Belgium!
Hi,
I am BalearicBeats, a long-time lurker of these forums who has finally decided to make an account! While my name may sound very Spanish (I borrowed it without permission from a CD box I won at a quiz a few years ago), I am actually from one of the lesser exotic places in the world, namely the Campines region of Belgium, which you may know as the region that spawned some great riders like Rik Van Looy and Tom Boonen, and is the world leader in hosting sandy cyclocross races. It's only natural to be somewhat of a cycling fan when you're born here, but still I'd count myself as a rather extreme fan of professional road cycling and cyclocross.
I own a Scott Addict road bike (which I'm addicted to so it's a fitting name), and rent an old urban bike in my student city, which I use as a mountainbike if I feel like it. As I seem to be to lazy to get a driver's license, I am also living car-free almost all of the time.
