Hi from Austin Texas
Greetings from Austin Texas!
I have been riding recreationally and for transportation for about 10 years, but I have always just used whatever bikes I could obtain for a reasonable price. I also delivered food by bicycle for two years, which was lots of fun. I previously lived in Phoenix, where you could get away with commuting on a 23mm skinnies, but Austin's roads are something else entirely! I am therefore going to buy or build my first "big girl" bike in the next few weeks to months, and I decided to finally join the forums for advice.
My current bikes:
2010 GT Series 4 - Got it because I needed something for work ASAP after my beloved Trek got stolen. Can't wait to get rid of it.
1982 Fuji Supreme single speed conversion - Nice old frame in good condition that I should restore sometime.
I am looking forward to being a part of your community. Thanks!
