BeardedCyclist: Hello World.

Hello fellow cyclists,

I thought I'd join a public forum and benefit from shared discussions, stories, experiences and humor!

I'm a cyclist that has previously worked at Deliveroo as a spot of fun and paid training. I currently own 3 bikes and have another one on the way (it sounds like I'm talking about kids) but thankfully, for now that is not the case.

I own the following bikes:
- 1960 Freddie Grubb Vintage 5 Spd (All original Campagnolo Gran sport Gearing) but recently re-enameled frame - (Red & White)
- 1970 Raleigh Royal Converted Single Speed - (French baby-blue)
- 2014 CUBE Cross Race (Cyclo-x Workhorse) - (Black & White)

On the way I have a Holdsworth Le Quelda frame which I'm building up whilst I cannot ride (I was hit by a white van driver) which has put me out of work for nearly 3 months now.

Despite coming out of the accident relatively unscathed I've sustained serious damage to my middle finger. The white van driver overtook and cut me up at the junction of a main road on Christmas Eve. After going into the side of his van at 25/MPH I distinctly remember contemplating giving him the finger before I rolled over the bonnet and continued to roll into oncoming traffic... fortunately I live to tell the tale.

I hope everyone is well,

Regards

BeardedCyclist.

This is the Clock Tower fish bar, my local - it cooks all of it's fish to order.
It is without doubt the best Fish & Chip shop in Exeter, Devon.

It is still there (Just about) just slightly out of it's original place with a minor rotation.

I've just had my second x-rays done as the first didn't pick up a break - they used low power as it requires less radiation, however due to me having abnormally dense bones they were unable to pick up any breaks - (the thicker your bones the higher power they need to use to penetrate them).

I'm being referred to a plastic surgeon and hand specialist as they believe my tendons were damaged also.
