Aloha from the 9th Island -- NEVADA!
In an earlier life, I was deeply involved with cycling. Now I'm back.
In the mid- to late-1970s, I rode pretty much EVERYWHERE. I bought a frame and selected all of the components for it, then bought a better frame, and a better one . . .during my divorce, my loving, money-hungry wife ruined my day by informing me that she had given my bike away . . .then I ruined HER day by telling her just how much she could have made by selling it.
I did a little racing back in the '70s, and while I wasn't a Great Name, I wasn't too bad, and can confidently say that if I had ever had the chance to race against Eddy Mercyx, I would have been able to keep right up with him all the way to the starting line!
Anyway, I'm back on two wheels, trying to get back in shape.
Current hardware:
Jamis Aurora (gonna sell)
Trek Carbon 2200
Trek Fuel 80
Older Trek hardtail (gonna sell)
Kaze

I once found a divorced bike in a dumpster, plus other male items.
