New Rider from PA
Hello. Like a few on this site I am also a runner. I had calf problems and some foot problems. My wife rode for awhile until she had a bad wreck. I wanted to get her back outside so we went and purchased a pair of Trek Ds2's. We got the bikes about 2 months ago. The weather became decent about a month ago and I have rarely missed a day. Super hilly around here but we have a great long rail trail and an awesome trail down by the river. (paved trail)
I stumbled onto this site while looking for advice about riding. So I decided to join up. Looking forward to learning more about the community.

Hi Eric, welcome to BF. Sounds like you are getting heaps of cycling in, great stuff. There is an owners thread on the Trek DS down in the Hybrid sub-forum you might want to view and also lots on trail riding across various sub-forums. Enjoy your time here

Hello. I just learned about these rides. Most people I talk to have dome the covered Bridge Ride. As soon as I can find a friend to ride with I plan on doing the Covered Bridge Ride. I have heard it's a great time.

I hope your wife does not push her pace or duration or frequency of rides too hard. That would be nice if she gets back to riding.
I'm trying to get back into some running.
Welcome to you both.
