Hey all-
I'm in the process of putting together a cross/touring bike and am looking for info on the Surly cross check and the new Ritchey break away cross. Not sure about the durability of this new system and once I saw some folks posting about it I knew I'd found the right place. I live on Eleuthera (Bahamas) for 8 months out of the year but do most of riding in upstate NY (adirondacks mountains)- looking forward to getting back to some topography and better roads! Glad to join the party...
